As we announced in June, Conference Compass has moved to a beautiful new office in the BINK36, a creative hotspot in The Hague. Previously occupied by the “Staatsbedrijf der Posterijen, Telegrafie en Telefonie” (Public Postal, Telegraphy and Telephony Services), the BINK36 now houses nearly two hundred creative and innovative organisations. The relocation to a bigger office became a necessity after our team outgrew the former workspace in the heart of Delft. Now, we are excited to share the first pictures of our new workspace.

Good news: Our apps are fully set for the future!
In June 2017, Apple updated its App Store Review guidelines. New rules were added, banning all apps created from a commercialized template or app generation service. The changes stirred up a discussion about the scope of those guidelines and definition of templated apps. This week, Apple published an amended version of the guidelines in an attempt to clarify their intentions. We welcome these clarifications as they are in line with our initial interpretation and our vision of high-quality apps.
Conference Compass, a Dutch pioneer in the world of event apps, has a mission to enable medical and scientific professionals worldwide to share and exchange knowledge that is connected to the symposia and congresses they visit. At their Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) in June 2017, Apple announced the biggest overhaul of their App Store in its 9-year-history. In a move to clean up the App Store before its new launch, Apple announced updates to their App Store Review Guidelines, acting more strictly on their quality guidelines for apps. This move to quality over quantity is welcomed by Conference Compass and gives opportunity to further improve our service of providing high quality customised apps to our clients.
