2018 BPNA Annual Conference

The British Paediatric Neurology Association is a registered charity and is the professional organisation for doctors who specialise in the care of children with neurological disorders.
BPNA charitable aims:
To promote the health and well-being of children with neurological disorders through:
- The training and education of professionals working in the field of paediatric neurosciences
- The promotion of research into the causes, effects and treatments of neurological disorders affecting children and young people
- The improvement of knowledge of professionals, the public and patients and their families through scientific and educational meetings
- The provision of professional support to members to facilitate the delivery of the above objectives and work with health service planners and providers to achieve this aim.
The 2018 Annual Conference aims to bring together practitioners in paediatric Neurology, Neurodisability, Neuropsychiatry and Neuropsychology in a series of 4 parallel workshops each morning focussing on ‘Hot Topics and Controversies’ in Acute Neurology; Psychology and Psychiatry; Neurodisability; Interventional Neurology. Delegates can choose from a choice of three workshops each day of the conference to further their clinical understanding with current clinical practice in a wide range of topics delivered by 2-3 experts and chaired by a Senior Neurologist and co-chaired a Neurologist in Training.
The Scientific Programme
New scientific information will be presented in 16 plenary oral presentations spanning the whole conference and 27 parallel oral presentations each day as well as time-tabled electronic posters.
