From our Sales Manager Sjoerd Bakx
The decision whether to invest in a low-cost web-based app or a more costly native app, is a big question mark for many event planners. There are many factors involved, but the main difference lies in the specific functions your app will need, in order to satisfy your end-users and reach your event goals. Our Sales Manager Sjoerd Bakx shares 5 reasons why an investment in a native app could be the better one to make.
Make your app investment last
1. Stability & usability
The biggest advantage of a native app is its stability and usability. While native apps do ask for some space on the device, the fact that they function independently of the quality of Wi-Fi, can prove to be a huge plus. This firstly means that costs for extra Wi-Fi bandwidth can be avoided. Of course you will need to provide a quality connection for delegates to download the app from the different app stores. However, this is a completely different story, then the extra investment that is needed to provide the high bandwidth that is necessary for web-based apps to function as a whole. Stability and the overall usability of native apps with more sophisticated features therefore still offer a big advantage.
