ISAF 2016 Forum
17 – 19 Nov 2016 | Manchester, UK
Building upon the success of the previous ISAF meetings (Gothenburg 2012 and Athens 2014), the aim of ISAF 2016 is to bring together scientists and clinicians, with a broad range of experience from junior scientists/doctors to key opinion leaders, at a focussed meeting dedicated to all aspects of severe asthma.
It is an exciting time to work in the field of severe asthma, with novel therapies, developed from an understanding of the pathophysiology of asthma on the horizon. Nevertheless these treatments will not be suitable for all and there is much we have yet to understand about the collection of diseases (or endotypes) we manage under the umbrella term of asthma.
ISAF will be interactive and the programme will be designed to facilitate discussions. We hope that this will encourage scientific collaborations and also enable the translation of emerging discoveries into clinical practice to benefit our patients.
We look forward to welcoming speakers who will travel from all over the world to share their expertise with us and partake in a truly iterative interdisciplinary dialogue.
